Sutter Creek Wine Tasting Sutter Creek Wine Tasting opened in March 2001 to rave reviews. Since that time, it has matured into one of the area’s best-loved tasting venues. Due in large part to the knowledgeable staff, wine tasting at SCWT is quite unlike any other place in the Sierra Foothills wine country. Humor abounds, interspersed with tidbits of wine knowledge that leave you better informed without ever knowing you’ve been educated. Locals have made it a favorite place to entertain out-of-town friends because they are sure they will have a good time and experience some of the best of the Foothills lifestyle. Saturday afternoons often offer a shoulder-to-shoulder experience of fabulous wines, laughter, and the opportunity to meet visitors from all over the world. You will frequently find a winemaker on hand to answer questions and sign bottles for your special occasion. You will have the chance to taste multiple varietals to find your favorite and ask all the questions you ever wanted to know about wine without ever feeling that you’re asking a stupid question. You may shop for wine-related gifts from an extensive inventory or just sit on the porch and encourage passersby to try the fabulous wines inside. Sutter Creek Wine Tasting invites visitors to experience types of wine they have never tasted before, learn about their origins, or simply match wits with the staff. Sutter Creek Wine Tasting is open seven days a week from 11am to 6pm. Gift certificates in any amount are also available.
